Market in Cape Coast

We were supposed to leave this morning. Salihou talked us into staying another day.

Shabazz! At Odas

Hawa had 8 or 9 cases of fanta bottles and we went to return those at the soft drink depot and get more. As Christmas nears, drinks will be in short supply, so best to do that now.

We visited the Ghana Telecom office and talked to an engineer in the central office about Spacefon and OneTouch services. They showed us the Ericsson boxes that look like a modem with a phone jack and an antenna connection. The service should be available for Jordan Nu early next year.

Salihou took us to Coconut Grove hotel for lunch. Took several pictures of Shabaz on the carved dolphins and other carvings outside.

Salihou and I were dropped off at the park where the drummers are, so I could play with them one last time. We reviewed the 3 pieces they taught me earlier. More pictures of clowning around :-)

Then back to Odas to send more e-mails. I found a couple of CDs. Gameli being particular to test them to make sure we don't get fakes.

Hawa had plaintains and beans. Mmmmm.

Elmina Castle in the distance through the windshield. The first slave trading castle in Africa, I believe.
